Izandla Zethemba Programmes
Support to Children and Youth
Izandla Zethemba works with vulnerable children as young as 5 years to those finishing their last year of school with the aim of building their resilience. To find out more about the kids work click here.
Youth Empowerment
Izandla Zethemba aims to empower and equip young people to recognise their potential, set personal career goals, and know what steps to take in order to pursue these goals so that they may become productive members of our society. Linked to this is the aim to make information technology available to these young people so they can pursue their career goals. To find out more about the youth empowerment click here.
Support to Adults
The adult programme aims to empower HIV positive people and other adults living with chronic illnesses to live their lives to the full, to adhere to their treatment, and to increase their coping skills so that they can still make a meaningful contribution to their families, communities and work places. Community Awareness Days
We partner other local NGOs and health facilities to host Awareness Raising Events that provide the community with access to free health tests with the goal of reducing the number of people who have chronic illnesses.
